Editor Julian Hunt is in recovery mode after running in last Sunday's Queen's Jubilee 10K London road race. As friends rather unkindly point out these days, our editor is no longer built for speed. Nevertheless, he managed to run the 10k in 47 minutes (that's about 7.6 minutes per mile in old money). It is a time he insists he has no plans of repeating or bettering as he has now hung up his running shoes. "Distance running is not for me," he wheezed. Safeway also had a team running in the event  led by managing director Jack Sinclair. All the runners were raising money for Caravan, the trade's welfare charity. So a big huzzah for them. {{COUNTERPOINT }}
