Sir; I am one of the 1.5 million English people who have taken up residence in France. Sadly it is the only country in the world at least as far as I know where I can buy no English foods. Many of my favourite foods are simply unavailable in this country. There is no Cheddar, Marmite, Bisto, English tea, suet, Shredded Wheat, English chocolate and many other foods. Please print my letter in the hope that someone will try and export the foods from home to France. I am also writing to the supermarket chain Intermarché to ask them to stock English foods.
