The creator of hit kids’ TV show Lazy Town has called on the UK food industry to do more to combat obesity among children. Retailers, manufacturers and government needed to work together to get children interested in fresh produce, said Magnus Scheving, speaking exclusively to The Grocer.

Scheving, who plays healthy-eating hero Sportacus, claimed retailers and producers had a responsibility to make fresh produce more appealing. “We need them to work together. To move a nation you need everybody to participate,” he said.
