The Northwest Food Alliance (NWFA) is pleased to announce the formation of an Insurance Consortium, which will benefit food businesses across the region.

The Consortium will offer members significant premium savings, as well as enabling them to benefit from a consistent form of risk assessment.

The scheme has been developed in association with consultancy company ISUWA, and specialist broker, Alexander Forbes.

Bob Pigeon, vice chairman of the Northwest Food Alliance, said: “The Northwest Food Alliance is very proud to be one of the first organisations to take advantage of this innovative approach to insurance, which will place us at the cutting edge of developments within the insurance industry.

“The NWFA will continue to work in partnership to ensure that the difficulties this market faces are minimised.”
