Inter Link Foods has reported a 10.1% rise in like-for-like sales for the four months to end September 3.

In a trading statement ahead of its agm later today, the cake maker also said that sales were up 44.7% for the period.

“New product development is the lifeblood of our business and we have maintained the strong momentum in this area from the last financial year. I am confident that we can look forward to another successful year,” said Alwin Thompson, chairman of Inter Link Foods.
