Interbrew said its results for 2003 would be broadly in line with the first nine months.

The Belgian brewer said that for the first 11 months of the year organic volume has grown by 6.2%. It said volumes would continue to rise in the UK and Germany.

Volume performance in the Americas was flat however with growth in Cuba and Canada off set by a decline in imports in the US.

In the emerging markets volume growth continued, led by Russia and the Ukraine, the brewer said.
