Connect will now be divided into four core sectors: classic, mature, easy entertainment and celebrity. There will also be a teen sector to include titles such as Mizz.
Publishing director Sandy Gale said the move would help retailers drive sales: "IPC Connect is the market leader in women's weeklies Â the single biggest magazine sector in the UK Â and this makes us a major business driver for IPC Media.
"As publisher of the market-leading brand in three of the four sub-sectors in which we operate, we have delivered some great results over the past few years, but we are determined to achieve more.
"Over the last three years we have developed a significant and highly-profitable Specials programme, and this new publishing structure will ensure that we can drive sales and profits in this powerful sector even harder and faster."
