Israel's leading supermarket chain has agreed a deal to source Leader Price own label from the second largest French supermarket company Casino. Blue Square Israel will import 500 Leader Price products during 2001, increasing to 2,000 by 2003. The products will include packaged foods, cleaning products, toiletries and paper goods. Blue Square ceo and president Yoram Dar said: "This agreement will dramatically condense the time required to bring to our customers thousands of excellent low-priced products.
