Future Publishing is investing an extra £88,000 this year in its music publication Future Music ­ increasing pages and promotions. The title will be beefed up by 16 pages ­ incorporating a larger and more detailed number of reviews plus a new buying and advice section. Future Music will carry two disks on its February issue offering a mixture of samples and demonstrations of newly tested kit. The March issue will include the Future Music Red Book, a diary-sized reference guide to industry contacts and technical data. Editor of Future Music, Andy Jones, says: "An increase in pagination is fantastic news for us. Not only does it mean that we can provide readers with the kind of buying information they require, but we can also cover more of the higher end kit we've occasionally had to let pass."
