Kerry Foodservice has chosen Gerard Murphy to fill the newly created role of foodservice development chef.
He will aim to expand existing food lines and work on new product development for Kerry’s foodservice market.
Murphy has 20 years’ experience in the foodservice industry. His previous roles included food development manager for Little Chef. He has also worked in the pub and restaurant sector.
He said: “I will be involved throughout the food development process, from concept to launch into the factory as well as assisting food technologists by ensuring products meet certain criteria.
“At the factory, we will then scale up the recipe and implement regular tastings until the product is fit for purpose.”
