Kiala, the European parcel pick-up and drop-off distribution service, is eyeing a full UK launch following an 18-month trial in c-stores in the north west of England.

Through Kiala, customers can return parcels to c-stores instead of mailing them back to the sender.

The trial in 130 c-stores, newsagents and forecourts in Preston, Liverpool and Manchester since January last year had been a "great success", said acting UK country manager Steve Bolton. "Trial has shown Kiala can recruit high-quality network partners and there is a strong demand for the convenience of the service, particularly at evenings and weekends.
