SPL Publishing is making an impact with its latest launch by offering two different front covers. The debut issue of Kitchens Made Easy shows an expensive, aspirational kitchen and another more affordable one. "A selection of covers will go to each retailer. This gives us two opportunities to sell the magazine," said publishing director Brian Whittaker. The magazine is launching as a one-shot with a print run of 100,000 but SPL said it would consider turning it into a monthly if the launch is successful.
