Kodak has launched a Photo Adventures Book which gives children the chance to star in their own personalised story. Parents take posed photographs of their child and fit these into the book's scenes in place of removable stickers. The book is aimed at introducing children to photography and encouraging participation from an early age. Thomas the Tank Engine leads the three-strong range and each book comes with an activity kit containing a Kodak Fun Flash single use camera, scissors and glue. Rsp, £14.99. The company is promoting the concept through a mailing hit to 200,000 households. It is also investing £3m in press and TV campaigns for its six Advantix camera Christmas gift packs. Each pack contains a camera, film, photo frame, case, strap and batteries, and a voucher book with £15 worth of Kodak savings. Rsp £29.99 to £139.99. {{MARKETING - P&P }}
