The Internet Explained, a beginner's guide to surfing the net, will launch on May 18. The new title will retail at just 99p. According to IT Publishing UK, the low coverprice will help attract more consumers to the magazine. Initially launching as a bi-monthly, each issue of The Internet Explained will carry a covermounted CD. The print run will be 80,000, with a planned sales figure of around 60,000 copies. Around six million UK households already use the internet. Brian Heathcote, publisher of The Internet Explained, believes commercial developments and government campaigns to get more people online will boost this significantly over the next five years. The Internet Explained will be distributed to the newstrade by Comag. {{CTN }}
