July 13 will see the launch of Classact, which will be targeting the parents of around 10 million children who attend primary and junior schools aged from four to 12 years old. The magazine will be a monthly priced at £2.40 and available on full sale or return distributed by MMC. The title, described as "the link between parents and schools", will keep parents up to date on what's new in the world of education, life at school, health, family issues, fashion, and beauty. Classact will carry tips on helping children learn through fun along with a 24 page magazine of Dorling Kindersley activities for kids. Each issue will feature competitions for the schools and children to win computers, books, CDs and other equipment, plus a chance to win a makeover for the classroom of their choice.
