The new edition of London-based educational guide Floodlight goes on sale on July 12. The annual title, published since 1936 and now in its 65th year, lists more than 40,000 part-time courses. They range from single day specials to degrees lasting for five years or longer. Subjects range from plumbing and foreign languages to stand-up comedy and "living with teenagers", giving the title an extremely broad readership. And there are thousands of courses to open up new hobbies. As a London-based journal, the title can be sited alongside Time Out or other what's on guides. Floodlight is being supported by a high profile promotional package this summer, which includes poster advertising as well as promotional activity with its sponsor, Capital Radio. The new issue also includes a prize draw for one reader to win a revealing trip over London in Capital Radio's Flying Eye. Off sale date is May 1, 2002, cover price is £3.75, distribution is by Seymour. {{CTN }}
