A monthly lifestyle title, aimed at a gay and lesbian readership, is launched this month by publisher Queercompany. Titled Fable, the publisher says it will be a sophisticated magazine emulating well established, non-gay titles such as Harpers and Queen in its style of editorial content. Henrietta Morrison of Queercompany adds: "Fable will not have overt sexual content or sexual advertising and will be suitable for mid-shelf positioning." Promotional activity surrounding the launch includes a £350,000 spend on 96-sheet and double poster sites around the UK. Fable's cover price is £3.20 and it goes on sale on November 15. Distributor is Comag. {{CTN }}
