Dairygold, the Dublin-based dairy products manufacturer, has named David Lilburn as commercial director for consumer foods at its newly consolidated UK division, Dairygold UK.

His appointment forms part of the ongoing restructuring programme implemented by Dairygold chief executive Jerry Henchy. It follows John O’Sullivan’s appointment in September as director of the UK wing (The Grocer, September 27, p16). Lilburn will support O’Sullivan in his drive to expand sales of the company’s products in the UK market.

Lilburn was previously sales and marketing director at chilled and frozen food supplier 2 Sisters Food Group, with responsibility for developing retail, wholesale and foodservice.

He has held senior sales and marketing roles with companies such as Premier Fresh Foods.
