IPC ignite! has unveiled a new design for its men''s title Loaded. The top-to-toe redesign includes new feature sections and reformatted editorial layout. Loaded's publishing director Eric Fuller says: "Loaded invented the look and feel of the modern men's magazine and triggered the biggest explosion in recent publishing history. "This recrafting is about Loaded staying one-step ahead of the competition, being ground-breaking in its style, tone and content, and reflecting what readers want." New elements include more stylised photography, modern typefaces for both body copy and headlines, plus clearer signposting throughout the magazine. In addition, paper stock has been significantly upgraded. New editorial sections include, World of Women ­ raising Loaded's coverage of women and sex issues, offering readers sex advice, tips and insights in an informative and humorous style; Features ­ new feature ideas and approaches; Entertainer ­ a reformatted review section on film, music, clubbing and computer games; Loaded Questions ­ putting celebrities in the hot-seat; and the Vegas Diaries ­ a column written by comedian Johnny Vegas. The redesigned issue went on sale on October 25 bagged with a Secret Lives of Soap Stars' 2002 calendar, with an increased cover price of £3.50 for this issue only.
