More than 50 c-store retailers in Luton joined forces last week to discuss better ways of working together.

The meeting, organised by the ACS, focused on how retailers can work together and with the police, Trading Standards, MPs and local authorities, to make their stores part of the community.

Local MP Gavin Shuker, who attended the meeting, said: "I want local retailers to badger me or their MP to make sure we know the challenges they are facing. I'm looking forward to working with retailers."

The ACS is planning further similar events around the country.
