The alternate-month Bride & Groom is to be relaunched as Cosmopolitan Bride in September, says publisher National Magazines. Bride & Groom is the number four title in the wedding market and is part of NatMag Specialist Media (AIM), acquired by National Magazines in December last year. The new title will be another brand extension from the Cosmopolitan stable, but will be managed as part of NatMag Specialist Media (AIM). The company already features strongly in the consumer wedding market with titles including You and Your Wedding (ABC Jul-Dec 2000, 62,552) and London and South East Wedding. Publisher Duncan Edwards says: "Cosmopolitan is the number one magazine for young women and the first place they look for advice on emotions and relationships, so it's an obvious step for us to be in the wedding market. "Research shows there is great potential for a wedding magazine that looks and feels like Cosmopolitan and we are very excited about it." Managing director of NatMag Specialist Media (AIM), James Buchanan says: "Our research has shown that Cosmopolitan is the most popular magazine with brides-to-be. With the power of this world famous brand and our track record of dominating the wedding magazine market, we feel the combination will make for the most exciting new launch in this market place since You and Your Wedding." {{CTN }}
