Emap has announced that circulation revenues and advertising in its UK consumer magazines are increasing. Speaking at the company's annual meeting, Adam Broadbent, chairman, said: "In the UK, advertising in our consumer magazines is showing some growth and circulation revenues continue to improve." However, he added: "Business to business display advertising has been impacted by the slow in technology and telecom spend. However, recruitment revenues remain strong." The news comes soon after the company announced the sale of Emap USA, which had been performing badly. Emap said that with the sale of its US division, it will focus more on its UK businesses. "With renewed focus on our core skills and assets, medium-term prospects for the group are sound." {{CTN }}
