Reckitt Benckiser has revealed two new senior management appointments.
Camillo Pane (pictured), general manager of RB UK since April 2007, has been promoted to senior vice president for healthcare.
Pane will be responsible for healthcare brands such as Nurofen, Strepsils and Gaviscon, which represent the fastest growing part of RB’s portfolio.
Pane will continue to work closely with the UK business until he has handed over to Alan Thompson, who is currently general manager of RB Canada. Thompson is relocating to the UK in July.
“I am very excited about my new role given the enormous potential within the global healthcare market,” said Pane. “I am also proud to be leaving a fantastic and very dynamic business in the UK, with an exceptional team and an enviable portfolio of brands.”
The appointments come after Rakesh Kapoor replaced Bart Becht as chief executive earlier this year.
