MSC Scots assessment first The first Scottish fishery has entered the full assessment phase of the Marine Stewardship Council programme. The fishery is located in Loch Torridon and the Inner Sound of Rona Closed Area' on the north west coast of Scotland. The species harvested is Nephrops norvegicus, known more commonly in Europe as Dublin Bay Prawn, Norway lobster, scampi or langoustine and the method of capture is baited creels/pots deployed on lines. Shieldaig Export Company Limited is the client for the certification and Moody Marine, a UK based certification company, has been contracted to assess the fishery. {{MEAT }}
