Independent soft drinks manufacturer Silver Spring has promoted Andrew McAdam to the position of director of sales and marketing.
McAdam was previously retail sales manager and has been with Silver Spring for 13 years.
He replaces Eddie Bullen who is retiring after 24 years at the company. According to Silver Spring, Bullen was instrumental in the development of supermarket own label, new categories and products within the market place. McAdam said: “Silver Spring will continue to lead the market innovation in both unique branded and retailer branded products through the next decade.”
The group has also appointed David Hanlon as director of operations. Hanlon previously held a similar post with Princess Soft Drinks and also worked with the Co-operative Wholesale Society for 13 years.
