The parliamentary under secretary of state for public health, Caroline Flint, will be speaking at a half-day seminar organised by The Grocer to mark the first anniversary of the publication of the government’s Public Health White Paper, for which she has specific responsibility for implementation.
Our event brings together the key stakeholders in the food and health debate. Other influential speakers include: Julia Unwin, deputy chairwoman of the FSA; Gavin Neath, chairman of Unilever UK and president of the FDF; and Joanne Denney-Finch, chief executive of IGD. Issues will be discussed by a panel of experts including Jeremy Preston of the Food Advertising Unit, Andrew Opie of the BRC and John Dyson of the British Hospitality Association.
