Britvic Soft Drinks has promoted Paul Moody to the new role of chief operating officer in a board reshuffle which will free MD Stephen Davies to focus on business strategy.
Moody was previously sales and operations director and will take increased responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business.
He will take up his new role on October 1 when he will assume control of Britvic's category marketing and commercial directorates as well as continuing to oversee customer management and operations.
His role will also include driving other aspects of corporate action, such as npd, cultural development and acquisitions, and he will be expected to help drive brands such as Robinsons and Pepsi in the UK.
Moody will continue to report directly to Davies, who will retain responsibility for strategic planning, finance and Britvic International.
Moody has worked for Britvic for six and a half years. He was promoted to sales and operations director in August 2000 and his previous responsibilities included take-home and on-premise sales director.
Before he joined Britvic, Moody worked in a variety of positions in sales, human resources and the company secretariat for organisations including Golden Wonder and Pedigree Petfoods.
