Simon Mowbray has been appointed news editor of The Grocer after nearly four years as marketing editor.
During this time he has helped to ensure the magazine's coverage of food and drink marketing issues is unrivalled. In 2003, he was named features writer of the year in the PPA-backed Business Food and Drink Journalist Awards. He replaces John Wood, who is to edit Pro Wholesaler.
