Robinsons plans to continue its presence at Wimbledon after a successful sponsorship of this year’s championships and British players Andy Murray and Tim Henman.
Brand owner Britvic said that it received some excellent exposure from the £3.5m sponsorship, and was particularly pleased with its tie-in with rising star Murray. The brand, which is celebrating 70 years at Wimbledon, linked the sponsorship with on-pack promotions offering holidays and the chance to play a match against Henman.
Other companies such as Richmond Ice Cream gave away free tubs of Skinny Cow Fun-illa. Wimbledon sponsors included Buxton and Colgate-Palmolive secured a deal to sponsor Maria Sharapova for its deodorant brand Palmolive before the championships.
