What's your favourite ­restaurant? The Black Horse in the village of Ireland in Bedfordshire. Unbeatable fresh produce and home-cooked food.

Do you prefer healthy food or junk food? If I'm out shopping I like to eat burgers and pizzas, but when I go out for dinner I prefer to eat meat dishes with lots of fresh vegetables.

What's your favourite ­tipple? A nice single malt whisky.

What would you rescue if your house was burning? My laptop along with my photo albums and personal possessions.

What's your fantasy car... and what do you actually drive? Any model of red Ferrari would be nice, although I currently drive a Golf 1900 TDI.

What are you reading at the

moment? Richard Branson's autobiography. It's fascinating.

What gadgets do you carry? A PDA, which stores all my clients' details.

What was the last film you went to see at the cinema?

Prime, starring Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman. A story about a 37-year-old woman falling in love with a 23-year-old Jewish boy whose mum is the older woman's psychiatrist.

What's the most embarrassing ­moment of your ­professional life? When I told a customer that yeast is a living orgasm, instead of organism!

What are your pet hates?

Without doubt, the top one is people who never return calls.

What's the best holiday you've ever had? Cuba. Beautiful white sands and calm seas. Wonderful.

If you weren't talking to us, what would you be doing?

Completing a tender or chasing up potential clients.
