What's your favourite restaurant? The Greyhound at Rotherfield Peppard. Simple, unpretentious food, well cooked - an Antony Worrall Thompson gastropub.
Do you prefer healthy food or junk food? I suffer junk food when I'm with the kids but prefer organic produce when I'm eating out and a number of the local restaurants now offer locally sourced organic food.
Have you ever sent back or complained about a meal? Oooh, can't remember food but have certainly sent back plenty of wines. Last one was, shockingly, at Babington House, where I had to send back a Burgundy that was undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle.
What's your favourite tipple? Buckingham Estate Winemaker's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz 2002.
What would you rescue from your house if it was burning? I couldn't live without my Crackberry (and maybe the wife and kids).
What's your fantasy car - and what do you actually drive? Aston Martin DB7 - sheer elegance. I drive a six-year-old Mercedes-Benz.
What are you reading? The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. It is beautifully written, gut-wrenching and a real insight into Afghanistan.
What gadgets do you carry with you? What more do you need aside from a Blackberry?
What are your pet hates? Whingers. Life is what you make it - get on with it!
