What’s your favourite restaurant? Carluccio’s in Windsor. Simple Italian food with plenty of flavour. It’s informal and it has a deli.
Do you prefer healthy food or junk food? Healthy, but it has to taste great. Of course I do wander into the occasional fast food outlet for a fix.
What would you request as your final meal? Fajitas. With extra jalapeno peppers, and lashings of soured cream.
What’s your favourite tipple? Stella Artois or a Leffe. Having recently stopped working for InBev, I do now miss my free beer allowance.
What’s your fantasy car… and what do you actually drive? Austin Healey 3000. I love open-top classic sports cars. I used to own a 1956 MGA but had to sell it when children came along. I now drive a more practical Saab 95 Estate.
What are you reading at the moment? Eating the Big Fish by Adam Morgan. It is a useful business book on ‘challenger brands’. It’s really interesting.
What was the last film you went to see at the cinema? Chronicles of Narnia. Fantastic!
What are your pet hates? People who litter near a bin, cold calls, and kids’ menus that offer only nuggets and chips.
What’s the best holiday you’ve ever had? I honeymooned in South Africa - Cape Town, the Garden Route, wine tasting and a safari.
What’s your motto for life?
Nobody ever said on their deathbed “I wished I’d spent more time in the office”.
