Rod Addy Ye Olde Oak has restructured its management team after the departure of md Jon Gymer to set up his own business after 12 years with the company. The daily running of the business will be managed by Derrick Watson, who has taken the job of sales director and Erik van Engelen, who has become marketing director. Watson returns to Ye Olde Oak after a year spent with fruit juice and fresh and canned vegetable supplier LDH Ladoria as commercial manager. He will focus on building sales of Ye Olde Oak's existing range of meat products, broadening the company's customer base and diversifying business. Before that Watson worked at Ye Olde Oak as senior national account manager. Van Engelen was a marketing director at Interbrew. As well as maintaining focus on Ye Olde Oak's traditional markets, he will work on NPD in the UK snack sector. Gymer will launch Stargate Group a food sourcing and brokerage service for foodservice companies and retailers which will also offer management solutions. He has been md of Ye Olde Oak for four years and was sales director before that. {{JOBS & CAREERS }}
