This year’s exhibition has introduced another first - a show restaurant where refreshment, relaxation and a chance to meet colleagues are only a few steps away

There is no need to leave the exhibition hall to find a place to relax and enjoy a meal or start networking to build business opportunities.

Expo’s own show restaurant in Hall 17 aims to offer exhibitors and visitors alike a place to relax and meet with colleagues or to develop business contacts, over breakfast, lunch and tea.

Organisers say the area provides an ideal environment for networking and, with leading industry players attending the show, this could be a useful spot for many. It also offers an opportunity for visitors to find out more about restaurant presentation and building profitability.

With food supplied by Woodward Foodservice, the restaurant offers a wide selection of fare.

Apart from the usual snacks and sandwiches, the menu includes a variety of food to suit all tastes.

Main courses on offer include Mediterranean vegetable risotto, beef bourguignon and stuffed roast salmon with balsamic vinegar. Desserts include an individual cheesecake, a chocolate, whisky and orange tart and a well-stocked cheese board.

There is also a range of hot and cold drinks, plus a wide selection of alcohol from Constellation Wines.

This is the first time Food and Drink Expo has had its own show restaurant and organisers recommend advance bookings.

Reservations can be made by calling the booking hotline on 0121 767 3640.
