The results support other findings outlined in the recent Competition Commission report by showing that owner-managers are concerned about the barriers to switching bank accounts and are dissatisfied with the rates of interest paid on in-credit balances. Thirty per cent of businesses thought it was difficult to change bank accounts. At about the same time a Consumer's Association report reckoned that the country could save itself £500m by switching accounts and the government has promised to make it easier, so I would persevere if I were you. {{GROCER CLUB }}
