The Nottinghamshire Food and Drink Forum has been given £1.22m by the EU to support Midlands food and drink manufacturers. The cash will fund the hiring of specialist advisors for firms in Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. And it will also be used to finance forum schemes to introduce business-to-business mentoring and graduate training. The forum received £400,000 from the government's Phoenix Development Fund less than a year ago to help entrepreneurs launch their own businesses. The Forum provides information and advice for food and drink companies on anything from setting up business to the legislation covering day-to-day operations. {{NEWS }}
