A new 4x4 magazine is being launched by hobbies and leisure publisher Traplet Publications. The monthly title, 4X4 Enthusiast, goes on sale on April 4, dated May, and with a cover price of £2.99. The magazine is aimed at the growing number of people regularly taking their 4x4s off road. Traplet says that the 100-page, full-colour magazine caters for the needs of both the novice and the experienced off-roader alike. While the content of the magazine will cover all 4x4 makes and models, the magazine will specifically target the used sector and those seeking real off-road thrills. The new 4x4 motoring sector will be covered in some detail. The first issue includes features on getting started in off-road motorsport, expeditions, 4X4 news, prices, events, off-road centres, clubs, and a classified section. Sales & marketing manager Liz Lane said: "We have invested heavily in news stand promotions  with promotional slots and coverage for the magazine, and have called local garages to give them the chance to stock it. We will also be attending the relevant shows that the core reader will be going to." The magazine was previously available to clubs and associations, but this will be its first outing on the news stand. Distribution, Seymour. {{CTN }}
