London's first organic c-store chain has opened for business. Luscious Organic has two outlets, in Kensington High Street and Fulham Broadway. The 900 sq ft stores will sell organic versions of typical c-store products and, according to the owners, husband and wife team Alison Rose and Tony Guy, are open to suggestions from customers on lines to stock. Rose said: "We sell everything, from organic toilet paper to organic tomatoes. "No longer will customers have to trek to a supermarket for their organic needs." Guy added: "We want to be the Sainsbury's Local of organic." The stores also offer an organic juice and coffee bar, salad and hot food bars and facilities for customers to wash their own fruit and vegetables. The couple have identified four further sites for stores at Shepherd's Bush, Paddington, Pimlico and Moorgate in London. The business incorporates 11 cafés in London, including nine in the Holmes Place Health Club chain. {{NEWS }}
