An organics village sponsored by The Soil Association could be a star attraction at Food & Drink Expo 2000. The organisers say more than 30 small organic producers will be represented. More than 700 exhibitors are expected to present the latest product innovations, including catering, retail, fresh produce and ingredients. They will be able to take advantage of the new Premier Retailer and Caterer Clubs initiatives, which allow them to nominate key buyers who get fast-track entry to the event. Nine Yorkshire pantry members are also choosing the event to stage their first ever national exhibition. Nominees will also be able to attend the Non Food Fair and Convenience Retailing Show, running parallel to Expo 2000. Food & Drink Expo 2000 is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, on March 19-22. {{NEWS }}
