A new feature at the show, dubbed Pack-It, will include a Design World Gallery where the best British designers will demonstrate the importance of good packaging.
Pack-It will also host a series of seminars that will get right to the heart of major supply chain issues such as shelf-ready packaging and RFID.
Underlining its importance, the feature is supported by the Faraday Packaging Partnership, the British Brands Group and the International Agriculture Technical Centre.
Foodex Meatex is part of Food & Drink World 2006, which also includes the Food and Drink Expo and the Convenience Retailing Show.
The event, which takes place between March 19 and 22 next year, is run by William Reed Events, part of the company that publishes The Grocer.
