Nuff respect to Tim Martin, CEO of pub chain JD Wetherspooon, who claims drunk celebs and cricketers are fuelling binge drinking, not his cheap alcohol deals. Apparently, the drunken antics of pop stars at the recent Brit Awards and Freddie Flintoff pie-eyed on an open-top bus in London are the real reasons people want to get blotto, not the cheap booze offered in pubs and supermarkets. It's good to see such a traditional English sport as buck-passing is still alive and well.
