Life O2, a newly launched bottled water from New Life Brands, promises an "oxygen boost in a bottle" with seven times more oxygen than ordinary water. The Norwegian spring water, infused with pure oxygen, is said to give a longer lasting boost than energy drinks and to combat lactic acid build-up after exercise. Launched in 1997 in the US, the aim is to capitalise on the growing craze here for oxygen bars, canisters and beauty therapy. Life O2, together with club-oriented sister brand Night Life O2, is aimed at young, active consumers.
