Grocery shoppers in Oxford are being urged to leave their wallets at home after Pay By Touch, the unique system that allows shoppers to purchase goods at the touch of a finger, was launched in three Midcounties Co-operative supermarkets.
The system uses a fingerprint scan linked to shopper’s bank accounts and is designed to speed up checkout queuing times and improve safety.
