Commercial director Brian Elliot said the company planned to open the stores over the next couple of years, rolling out the concept that was developed for Westbourne Grove. The store has had a food to go counter installed, as well as an eating area and new health and bodycare department as part of a £220,000 refurbishment.
It has also had an organic meat counter installed.
Elliot said Planet Organic was “structured to deal with lots of deliveries”.
The company’s two stores carry 10,000 lines that are sourced from 200 suppliers and delivered direct.
Planet Organic’s other current outlet is in Torrington Place, also in west London.
