Beverage Brands is extending TV advertising for its WKD premium packaged spirit to cover the festive period. It has made a new ad in the Have You Got a WKD side' series and has booked slots for it in TV programmes watched by its key 18 to 34-year-old target audience. These include Champions League football matches on ITV and programmes on C4, C5, E4, MTV and Sky. The latest ad features the WKD lads playing pranks on each other after a football match and is part of a £12.5m marketing budget for the brand this year. Marketing manager Karen Salters said: "Since WKD went on the television it has been recording the highest rate of purchase of any premium packaged spirit, and sales have reached £250m a year." {{DRINKS }}
