Sir; Would it be possible for food producers/manufacturers to list the ingredients on their products in a way that is easy for us consumers to read?
Putting black lettering on a brown background is very unhelpful, as is yellow writing on a white background. Looking at food labels is tiring enough without food manufacturers making it harder still.
Also, why do some small grocery retailers persist in putting their price labels or special offer details over the ingredients on packaging? Those of us on special diets then have to rummage among the stock to find a product without a price tag over the ingredients to see if the product is suitable. It is a situation I would prefer to avoid.
Finally, why do many manufacturers just put ‘flour’ as an ingredient on products? If they mean wheat flour then could they please say so?
