Diageo GB has created a new senior position to develop supply chain partnerships with customers.

Chris Poole has taken up the position of customer service director. He will be responsible for working with customers to improve on-shelf visibility, reducing costs through supply chain inventory and developing collaborative partnerships.

Poole joins Diageo from B&Q, where he was director of value chain. Prior to that he headed PA Consulting Group's supply chain practice and spent many years at Procter & Gamble in a ­variety of sales and supply chain roles.
