Alcohol watchdog The Portman Group is spreading its responsible drinking message to gym-users as part of its support for a national get fit campaign.
It has teamed up with the Fitness Industry Association to promote the national ‘Commit to Get Fit’ campaign across more than 500 health clubs and leisure centres nationwide. The campaign, which was launched on Thursday (July 1), aims to encourage up to 100,000 people to take regular exercise as part of their routine. And The Portman Group will provide responsible drinking advice to gym-users and instructors, including ‘alculators’ (alcohol unit calculators), as part of its support.
