Two new titles, Italy magazine and Spain magazine, are being launched this month, targeting the winter-weary UK consumer . Italy is a bi-monthly magazine from Poundberry Publishing that hits the news stands on January 17, supported by national press advertising. With a cover price of £3.45, Italy is positioned at the premium end of the market for consumers with a high disposable income, although publisher Peter Shaw says the readership base will be broad. "We think the readership will be built of lots of elements  from those thinking about living in Italy to people buying holiday homes, and others interested in finding out more about the culture of the country," he says. The editorial will cover travel destinations, events, fashion, food and wine, and Shaw says much emphasis has been placed on high quality photography. The title will be stocked in multiples and independents, and potential readers will be targeted through the national press. "We have been delighted with the support from retailers  independents in particular have been very supportive," says Shaw. Distribution is by Seymour and the print run is 50,000. Spain magazine launches from The Media Company on January 24. The new monthly title includes editorial on unusual holidays, homes & gardens and property as well as insider travel guides. With a cover price of £3.25, Spain is distributed by Comag. {{CTN }}
