Quix is launching a year-long series of magazine promotions in an effort to boost sales and win distribution deals.
Shops are being sent Quix-branded on-fixture Perspex merchandising units which will be reusable for the other 11 magazine promotions planned during the next year.
The first promotion, secured through distributor Frontline, will target Emap's new weekly celebrity gossip magazine Closer. All 85 Quix members will receive a special launch allocation of Closer and exclusive window posters.
Quix trading manager David Walker said: "We hope to give Quix members a point of difference from the multiples with the top 200 magazines."
